Halloween was really fun this year, and also pretty low key. We trick or treated on our street with our cute little firefighter and dalmatian puppy. Jacob loved trick or treating and caught on really fast. He would say trick or treat when the door was opened and then after he was handed a piece of candy he would either say "Thank you Mr. Guy" or "Thank you Mr. Lady". Ha, I don't know where he came up with that but it was pretty cute :) After trick or treating we came home and handed out candy.
On November 12th, John's little brother Christian came home from his mission in Brazil. We had fun going to the airport and welcoming him home!
These three boys were all under a year old when he left. They've grown up quite a bit! And Christian met Lucy and Cole for the first time.
Welcome home Christian! John's parents are happy to have him back, as are we!
This picture was taken a month and a half ago but I wanted to add it on to remember he ate rice cereal and sweet potatoes for his first solids. Here he is learning how to eat off a spoon.
I love watching babies eat...and now he is a pro at eating off a spoon. He loves food!
He turned 6 months old yesterday. I can't believe how fast time is passing. This is one of my favorite ages for many reasons (learning to eat, learning to sit, getting more mobile). I hope time will slow down a little bit over this holiday season and I hope I can slow down and cherish these moments with my family.
