Halloween and Early November

Halloween was really fun this year, and also pretty low key. We trick or treated on our street with our cute little firefighter and dalmatian puppy. Jacob loved trick or treating and caught on really fast. He would say trick or treat when the door was opened and then after he was handed a piece of candy he would either say "Thank you Mr. Guy" or "Thank you Mr. Lady". Ha, I don't know where he came up with that but it was pretty cute :) After trick or treating we came home and handed out candy.

On November 12th, John's little brother Christian came home from his mission in Brazil. We had fun going to the airport and welcoming him home!

These three boys were all under a year old when he left. They've grown up quite a bit! And Christian met Lucy and Cole for the first time.

Welcome home Christian! John's parents are happy to have him back, as are we!

This picture was taken a month and a half ago but I wanted to add it on to remember he ate rice cereal and sweet potatoes for his first solids. Here he is learning how to eat off a spoon.

I love watching babies eat...and now he is a pro at eating off a spoon. He loves food!

He turned 6 months old yesterday. I can't believe how fast time is passing. This is one of my favorite ages for many reasons (learning to eat, learning to sit, getting more mobile). I hope time will slow down a little bit over this holiday season and I hope I can slow down and cherish these moments with my family.

4 months and the end of summer

This is a random post of multiple events, but I wanted to get some pictures up...I have so many more pictures that I want to post still! For now, here are a few:

This babes is now 4 months old!

96% in height and 70% in weight. I think he's the perfect size.

He continues to be calm, sweet, and happy.

He tends to concentrate on my phone instead of smiling when I try to take a picture of him.

With the end of summer, we visited a small pumpkin patch and apple orchard.

Jacob is learning more and more everyday on how to be a great older brother. My favorite is when they laugh together :)

Me hanging out with the baby at Jacob's soccer class. He has mastered the hold on his pacifier.

Jacob at his soccer class that lasted for four weeks.

We also had fun with family at Great America. Jacob was not too fond of the wind that was hitting us on the second story of the carousel.

My little cousin drove Jacob on the bumper cars. It's fun to see my younger cousins act like first cousins to Jacob.

It was a fun day spent with my extended family.

All the girls with their strollers!

So there's a few pictures...now to sort through the rest :)

2 Months

In just two short months, our little newborn went from this...

to this...

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past few weeks:

Blessing Day: July 7th

Thanks Dan for the next 4 pictures!

He was blessed on the same day as his cousin Kate!

3 days apart from each other :)

Lake Tahoe

It's been a fun two months! Cole's growing fast and his personality shows a little more every day.

He slept a 7 1/2 hour stretch last night! His best yet!

He rolled over for the first time a week ago at 7 1/2 weeks.

He's a sweet boy!
